Shlohmo to release new album in 2018
Los Angeles-based hip hop producer and founder of the underground collective WeDidIt, Henry Laufer — AKA Shlohmo — has revealed via Instagram that he is set to release a new album in 2018.
The album will mark Shlohmo’s third studio album, following his debut with 2011’s Bad Vibes and 2015’s Dark Red.
Laufer’s WeDidIt collective includes producers such as RL Grime, Salva, and Groundislava. Perhaps Shlohmo’s most accomplished body of work to date, his Debut LP Bad Vibes set the tone for the sweeping sonic landscape that would come to define him as a producer.
Since the release of his sophomore LP Dark Red, Shlohmo has experimented with a variety of sonic identities, collaborating with artists Pollari and Lil Yachty, co-producing Corbin’s newest album Mourn, and even debuting a mixtape in June.
