Virtual Self releases otherworldly music video for ‘Particle Arts’
In late October of 2017, Porter Robinson announced a new alias, Virtual Self, that showcases a different side of the world-renowned producer. Virtual Self is a departure from the nostalgic sounds of Robinson’s debut album, Worlds, in favor of a more intense sound inspired by late ’90s and early 2000s dance music.
One of the songs from the striking EP, “Particle Arts,” has been beautifully crafted into a fantasy-inspired music video, which features stunning futuristic visuals perfectly accompanied by the sounds of the piece. The music video goes hand in hand with the vision Virtual Self has portrayed to listeners across the world.
