Frank Ocean surprises with ‘Moon River’ cover

There is seemingly no end to the amount of joy Frank Ocean provides his fans. Christopher Edwin Breaux, the mercurial artist’s given name, has rolled out track after track, following the surprise release of two LP’s in 2016, Blonde and Endless, after a long hiatus and largely due to the young artist being freed from a constrictive record deal formed in years prior.

Ridding himself of the deal was great news for fans, as 2017 brought us “Provider,” “Chanel,” “Biking,” and “Lens,” primarily via his Blonded radio show. Not to mention the release of a brilliant Calvin Harris collaboration in “Slide,” the lead single from Harris’ Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 album.

2018 is shaping up to be another productive one, as Frank Ocean just released a crooning cover of Audrey Hepburn’s “Moon River,” originally from her 1961 film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
