Dirty Audio – Racks
Highly decorated trap producer Dirty Audio has returned to Monstercat with his first original release of 2018, “Racks.” The filthy trap track trails the California native’s prolific 2017 release record, which includes his drum & bass-tinged drumstep collaboration, “Stay” with the equally fervent drum & bass duo, Delta Heavy — also via Monstercat.
“Racks” is an electrifying jolt of Dirty Audio’s characteristic trap accents. The track is riddled with sweeping melodic breaks and jagged, oscillating bass.
While Dirty Audio has been producing electronic music since 2011, it wasn’t until 2016 when his Mad Decent collaboration with Rickyxsan, “Gettin’ That,” propelled him into major league EDM prominence. Since then, he has been a seasoned staple in both Panda Funk and Monstercat’s release rosters.
