Drake joins Twitch broadcast to play Fortnite, basically breaks the internet [Watch]

Blevins had a hand in breaking Twitch history last night when he formed a Fortnite team comprised of himself, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (FaZeJuJu_19), rapper Travis Scott (cactus_jackk92), and the ‘6 God’ himself, Drake (TheBoyDuddus). Blevins played an initial and individual few rounds of the game with Drake, before joining forces with Smith-Schuster and Scott for a Twitch stream that would become the live streaming video platform’s most-viewed stream, with a total of 630,000 concurrent viewers, surpassing the previously held record of 388,000 viewers. The stream additionally trended on Twitter.

Fortnite fans can watch “Ninja” and Drake spar on the video game thanks to a video of the matches, which additionally includes Drake’s insight on pineapple as a pizza topping, the future of Fortnite, and more.
