As we eagerly await new material from Gabriel & Dresden, to quench our appetites the duo has served up a revived classic. Out on Armada’s Organized Nature imprint is “Tracking Treasure Down Revisited,” the duo’s 2013 spin on the 2006 classic. Included in the release is a remix from Dyro that is surprisingly subdued. After a short progressive intro, the young Dutch producer let Molly Bancroft’s vocal stems stand alone, not fully building into his signature sound until nearly two minutes in. Not lacking in energy but less intense than Dyro’s electro work, the mix manages to respect the original while bringing it up to speed with 2013 sounds.
