Throughout Boys Noize’s lengthy career, he’s represented everything between techno and electro, and in the case of today’s Weekend Rewind, old-school, 90’s inspired house. “Adonis,” which was recorded using the German producer’s Roland Tr-909, was released on Sven Väth’s Cocoon Records back in 2011. The track is rich with warm piano lines that build steadily throughout its playtime. The recurrent piano notes lay over a funk-infused bass line, with a high-hat and chanting vocal segment to bring it all together. Groovy is the theme of this throw back, which will forever be slated as a true Boys Noize classic.
