DA Exclusive: Sidney Samson readies Doorn release of ‘Revenge Of The Acid’

Sidney Samson has shared time between his Rock The Houze imprint and labels of dance music mega stars thus far this year, releasing “Go” and “Move” beneath his own umbrella while offering “Torrent” and “YLB” through Tiësto’s Musical Freedom. Retreating to the release circuit to cement the fourth quarter, Sidney is resurrecting the Killfake-assisted “Revenge Of The Acid” — his highly anticipated production that was originally slated for an August release.

The next sound from studio Samson, however, won’t land on either of the aforementioned labels, but will be justly released by Sander van Doorn. Currently one of the hottest hosts across dance music, Doorn Records has most recently set fire to the festival scene with “Revolution,” “Tsunami,” and “Neon” to name a few, and next week “Revenge Of The Acid” will find a fit with the anthemic catalog.

Grinding bassline, frenetic electro builds, and a wink at the notorious acid house sound, Sidney completes one of his most well-polished workings even while letting his signature styling play second to experimentation. Here’s what Sidney himself has to say about the forthcoming “Revenge Of The Acid”:

I’ve been working on this track for awhile and I’ve wanted to wait to release it until it was just right. I wanted to do something with Killfake because I knew we could make something really different. I think everyone will be surprised by the sound. I wanted to make something that was meant for the clubs. When I started working on this I envisioned a huge party with dancing and people just having a genuinely good time.
