Doorly readies second instalment of ‘Boom Boom Room’ EP series

Having primed the state of underground house music with volume one of his Boom Boom Room EP series back in May, British trailblazer Doorly is back with the second instalment in this already revered series. Off the heels of affirmative vocal offering “Rush,” the LA-based talent returns to Toolroom Records with another two-fold offering of eclectic club music for the left-of-field sound system. Kicking off with the stripped back grooves and focused sample work of “I Want You To Dance,” Doorly immediately strikes up a first-class exemplar for minimalistic club fuel done right. Rae and Davos are then added to the equation for “Can’t Stop,” a fluid and perhaps more characteristic set-piece of the deep yet melodic penchant this British house maverick has looked to perfect of late. Second time around, the Boom Boom Room serves up two of Doorly’s most distinct bombs to date, reaffirming the belief that there are few global assets capable of holding a flame to his creative stamina on the digital market right now.
