Shall Ocin conceives the shape of things to come with latest Culprit short-player [EP Review]

Having dropped his debut EP for North American luminaries Culprit back in January, Argentina’s Shall Ocin is back to represent the underground mainstay with a new four track EP to see in the New Year. Murky instrumental house is at the forefront of Ocin’s, descending from the more sinister sound scope of A-side “Forgive Me” into the more well-oiled deep and melodic sanctity of “Conception” and “Have To Say.” These three tracks are wholeheartedly indicative of the diverse and onpoint agenda Culprit have pursued to date, leaving Valanecia’s Edu Imbernon to provide the icing on the cake with his progressive spin on the A-side. At a time when everyone is out to predict the changing tides of electronic dance music’s leftfield contenders, Shall Ocin and Culprit certainly seem to have a solid agenda for taking things forward.
