Besides braving a snowy New Year’s Eve performance in Cleveland, Ohio, the brazen and passionate dub-pop trio Krewella invited one special individual to the stage for their final song of the night. Michelle Knight is one of three survivors of the Castro kidnappings who went missing in 2002 and was held hostage until she managed to escape 11 years later. To honor the Cleveland woman’s story and her rescue in May 2013, the trio brought Michelle on stage to help commemorate her first real New Year’s Eve celebration in over a decade. In a short, but touching clip from the NYE show, watch Krewella bring a new light to Michelle Knight’s face as she jams out on stage with the group to their single, “Enjoy the Ride.”
