Will Sparks‘ remixing capabilities were on full display during 2013, as the Australian producer lent his touch to TJR‘s “Ode To Oi,” Laidback Luke and Hardwell‘s “Dynamo,” and Robin Thicke’s inescapable “Blurred Lines.” The latter found its way to the top of Beatport and solidified the Australian’s status as one of dance music’s most promising young producers. For his inaugural release of 2014, Will Sparks injects Martin Garrix‘s “Animals” with his trademark Melbourne-bounce while leaving the original’s melodic buildup largely intact. The remix certainly isn’t the first unofficial rendition of the chart-topping production, but it does offer another interesting take on one of the most popular tracks of 2013.
