We recently christened bass-heavy duo Pegboard Nerds as one of our ‘Artists to Watch for 2014,’ and Alex Odden and Michael Parsberg are quickly living up to the title. In spirit of the upcoming track’s buzzing anticipation, the Nerds have released a seriously short teaser. Short, but sweet: don’t be fooled by the 30 second mark on this preview – length acts as no limit for the skyrocketing energy of the aptly titled “Bassline Kickin.” As the heading suggests, the tune’s instant attack of heavy dub artillery is enough to knock any bass lover off their feet. Gather yourself back up, brush your shoulders off, don’t worry; you’ve still got time to prepare for its release, coming January 15th.
