Whether you’re in search of euphoric trance, grinding electro, tribal beats, or a dirty dutch soundtrack all will be at your disposal at HQ Dayclub and Nightclub.
Tickets for the events go on sale this Thursday via Revel. Full schedule after the break.

Last Thursday Armin van Buuren took over Sirius XM’s fishbowl studio for the Electric Aquarium series, which has played host to top dance music talent including Afrojack, Ferry Corsten, and Dirty South. The series offers a uniquely intimate experience, incomparable to almost anything else out there due to its unprecedented artist access. At festivals and concerts fans are separated from DJs by a sea of heads, a bounty of security, and several physical barriers — but for Electric Aquarium events there’s only a few feet of space between the fans and their idolized performers.
Attendees were able to watch Armin’s live interview and then bear witness to an up close and personal performance where Armin treated fans to a slew of tracks from his recently released Intense album. The corporate office location wasn’t enough to counteract the effects of his euphoric selections as fans spent the majority of the time swaying along with the beat. A frequent occurrence at the Sirius XM office, these sort of intimate experiences are often offered by Electric Area, giving diehard fans a chance to see their favorite DJs like they never thought possible – it was the perfect setting for a small group of superfans to see the world’s #1 DJ spin his latest album.

Best of the Rest is a daily feature from Dancing Astronaut that recaps the most important posts of the day as well as the stuff we didn’t get to. With the rapidity that dance music news and releases come out it’s difficult for us to hit everything — we hope BOTR serves as a catch-all. Make sure to check it out at the end of each day to ensure you don’t miss anything!

After teaming up on “No Beef” and showcasing bottles of their drink Afroki in the accompanying music video, Afrojack and Steve Aoki hopped into the studio to bring their beverage to life. The resulting big room blitz was just finished last week and the duo unveiled it to the world at the Kingsday Festival in Amsterdam. Still untitled, the track has both producer’s signature trademarks. Big gritty synths and squealing Dutch stabs work in tandem to create yet another track destined for festival tent dominance.
Listen after the break.

This summer, the Dirtybird crew will be traveling from San Francisco to Ibiza for a highly anticipated residency at Sankeys Ibiza. Their club night doesn’t kick off until June 27th, but labelhead Claude VonStroke gives listeners a peek with his aptly titled Back To The Island Mix. The bass-heavy set is short, but packs a groovy enough punch to lift our spirits and keep us pressing replay. Maintaining the tropical vibes throughout, he mixes now classic vocals like “Make That Booty Clap” with more surprising selections like a Kendrick Lamar sample. After this mix, we’re ready to book our flights.
