It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to make plans for the weekend. We’ve rounded up some of the top shows happening around the country these next few days for you to check out. Jump past the break for the full list.
If we have missed anything, please comment and let us know!
Halloween is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to start planning your costumes. We at Dancing Astronaut would like to see your best rendition of a Dancing Astronaut this year, and we know that our incredibly creative fans will be able to bring our logo to life.
Of course we’ve got killer prizes for the contest too. One grand prize winner will win a pair of the brand-new AKG by Tiesto K267 headphones, and two other winners will each win a pair of the K167s. For information on how to enter, keep reading below.
A few weeks ago we introduced you guys to GLOWfest, a travelling EDM college tour focused on bringing the latest in music, technology, and philanthropic knowledge to campuses nationwide. Since then, GLOWfest has hosted two massive parties at Indiana University and West Virginia University, where Dancing Astronaut was able to catch up with Krewella for an interview and enjoy a night of great music amongst our fans at WVU.
We at Dancing Astronaut can recognize that one of the only things better than enjoying dance music is creating it yourselves. To recognize the countless aspiring producers and remixers who have reached out to us, we have decided to host our first-ever demo competition.
Keep reading to find out how you can have your original submission featured alongside tracks from some of the biggest names in electronic music!
UPDATE: After much discussion we have agreed with many of our readers that the contest winner should not be determined solely by number of Facebook likes. While Facebook likes will still be used to determine finalists, a committee of Dancing Astronaut staff will select a winner based on originality, potential and production quality.
Again, the overwhelming response and support from you all is only reflected in how quickly our first and now second run of apparel flew off the shelves. We won’t be making any more of these for some time, so don’t miss out on the ability to rep Dancing Astronaut at the rest of the shows this summer!
Our first round of merchandise sold out fast. Not wanting to leave any of our readers out in the dust, we ordered some more for those that weren’t able to get their hands on the initial limited quantities. We have less items than the first round, so these are sure to disappear quickly.
Whether it’s to dress like the superstar DJ you’ve always wanted to be, or just to show the world your good taste in dance music, the Dancing Astronaut store has something for everyone.
Note: We’ve worked hard to make our shipping processes more cost-effective. If you have any questions or comments about our service, please contact us at email@example.com.
It’s almost shocking how quickly our stock of Dancing Astronaut apparel sold out in our first onsale. We don’t know when we’ll next have merchandise available again, but our very first goal will be to lower the shipping costs for our fans, even if it’s at our own cost. We understand that the fees were a barrier for some, and we sincerely apologize for that. To those of you who were fortunate enough to get your hands on a tanktop or t-shirt: we’ll be on the lookout this summer.
If you have any suggestions for future merchandise, or just want to send us your thoughts, please send them our way to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’d like to thank all our fans that have purchased apparel from our store during our grand opening this past week. The support and demand have been phenomenal. Only a small percentage of our limited stock is left – we still have a few men’s and women’s tanks available, as well as a very limited number of unisex tees. Don’t miss out on being one of the few to sport the Dancing Astronaut mascot at all the shows and festivals this summer. Get yours while supplies last.
Hint: We expect stock to reach zero by early next week.
