Headhunterz joins the Ultra Music family with the release of “Colors,” the hardstyle heavyweight’s blazing original alongside Tatu. The melodic build cuts a graceful path before the pulsating heavy kick comes in to play. Headhunterz continues to dominate after a big year with multiple festival headlining slots. With Q-Dance set to invade TomorrowWorld and LA this year, hardstyle is undeniably starting to make waves in the US.

LA native Paris Blohm is back with another freebie, this time in collaboration with Matt Morris. “Miracle” is an incredibly clean progressive house tune that is sure to make a room move. Complemented with catchy vocals, big synths, and soft backing beat, Paris’s “Miracle” has come a long way in a short amount of time. You can download the track below and expect more from the young producer soon as he plans on making 2013 his year to shine.
It has been over a year since the release of ”Oxford” but Julian Jordan and TV Noise are back with another collaboration. “Childish Grandpa” rides the line between progressive and electro for a final product full of light synths, wobbles and grinding bass. With support from major artists like Hardwell, R3hab, and Nicky Romero, it won’t be soon before these young Dutch producers become a household name.
With Q-Dance set to invade Los Angeles this fall, the harder styles of dance have come a long way. Defqon.1 is an annual festival held in both the Netherlands and in Australia with over 55,000 people this year’s Dutch festival. The amount of production work in the last 20 minutes will definitely blow your mind — and is a perfect fit for the intensity of the hard style sound.

In a time when standing on stage and mixing just doesn’t cut it anymore, Destroid are taking the live idea to another level. We reported earlier this year about Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka forming dubstep supergroup Destroid, and after their first show it seems dubstep might not be dead after all. Using MIDI guitars and a modified drum kit, Destroid proves that live music and dubstep can be one in the same. If you think this set is prerecorded, think again. They’ll also be playing at this year’s Camp Bisco.
“All drums parts & bass samples are played live, in Ableton samplers and drum tracks. We had to actually split our 75 minute set in to two separate projects as Ableton could not handle having an entire sets worth of individual samplers/drum racks for each bass sample/drum hit.”
