Haze & Full Intention – Signification (Sebjak Remix)

Sebjak Headlines At DJ Tävling

Sebjak has been known for his pulsing and powerful progressive basslines. He reminds us a lot of Hard Rock Sofa because you know everything will incorporate the sweeping sounds we have come to love and appreciate from deeper tracks. A few of Sebjak’s previous beauties have been “Analog Stockholm” and his remix of Cicada’s “Fast Cars.” This time around he uses a tech oriented bassline that meshes perfectly with the robotic vocals that give this tune a sinister yet bold feel. Sebjak welcomes you to the ‘dark side’ – we hear excessive partying takes place there on numerous occasions.

Laidback Luke & Sander Van Doorn vs. Michael Woods – Who’s Wearing The Cap The Last Day On Earth (Hardwell Mashup)

Hardwell-Philadelphia-850-010

Hardwell releases this killer mashup right before his highly anticipated “Spaceman” release. He combines Laidback Luke and Sander Van Doorn’s “Who’s Wearing The Cap” and Michael Woods’ “Last Day On Earth.” Hardwell flawlessly transitions between both tracks and using Duvall’s vocals to his advantage. The drop is what really sells this mashup because it is much harder than the original mix of “Last Day On Earth.” We know that Hardwell loves to bring the heat so it is no surprise that he keeps finding unique ways of lighting speakers on fire.

Qulinez – Troll (Preview)

wallpaper black background design

Next up on the prestigious Size Records is Quilinez’ premier release “Troll.” This duo is made up of Alexander Lager and Johannes Gustafsson and they are going to be in the spotlight in no time. They have the pathway set to follow along the likes of Tim Mason, An21 & Max Vangeli, and Third Party to name a few. The interesting part of “Troll” is that it almost seems as though it is two songs put together in one. There is a melodious segment capped off by a harder drop that extends throughout the end of the clip. One thing we know for sure is that “Troll” keeps us raging. The creature is out there!

Steve Aoki & Wynter Gorden Get Physical In ‘Ladi Dadi’ Video

Steve Aoki and Wynter Gordon create a music video for “Ladi Dadi” where they play characters from the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Things get intense straight from the beginning when Wynter Gordon seductively crawls across the dining table and proceeds to get physical with Steve Aoki. The entire video is sinister, but has some humor deep within. Turns out – Wynter Gordon ends up being the victor in the battle till death. Looks like even in the dance world, women always win in relationships of love. Unless, of course, you are Steve Aoki — the mastermind of electro house — then you always get the last laugh.

Steve Angello – Yeah (Original Mix) [Preview]

Steve Angello’s “Yeah” is the follow up track to his 2010 smash hit “KNAS.” The track has been out for quite some time, but has been slated for a 2012 release (exact date unknown) on his very own Size Records. The rock-0influenced bassline is much harder than what we have come to expect from any of the members of the Swedish House Mafia, but (recently) they have been known to dive into the darkside on occasion (their last tune was “Antidote” alongside Knife Party, which had a serious amount of grunge). Remember to stay by your computer tomorrow at 10 AM PST  to purchase your 1st week Coachella tickets to see the Swedish House Mafia headline.

Riva Starr & Fatboy Slim – Get Naked (Louis La Roche ‘Is It Summer Yet’ Remix)

louis la roche 1

Louis La Roche is one of the pioneers for nu disco and French house, he follows up “Los Angeles” with another free release – his remix of Riva Starr and Fatboy Slim’s “Get Naked.” Right from the get go you sense that early 90′s feel that is soothing and funky. This definitely qualifies for a ‘feel good’ track that is perfect for lounging around the pool (Louis probably had poolside lounging in mind when creating the title for this remix). Be sure to check out “Gimme Gimme” and “The Wall” when you get a chance – we promise it will be pure bliss from start to finish.

NERVO – You’re Gonna Love Again (Extended Mix) [Preview]

Avicii and NERVO combine forces to create “You’re Gonna Love Again.” Oh wait, Avicii was rumored to have had a hand in this track, but we can now safely credit this track solely to the lovable Aussies. NERVO has been busy recently – they created a track alongside LMFAO and Steve Aoki called “Livin’ My Love” which appeared on Steve Aoki’s album. The duo also has the release of “Army” coming shortly. If you are going to be at their show at XS this Sunday, email us and we can all meet up!

Remember, this was the second night in a row that they were playing at Ruby Skye and the place was at capacity. The duo had the crowd rocking from start to finish with no rest for the weary. Dada Life also mentions they have many tracks in tow for 2012, get ready to kick out the epic motherf**ker as the year progresses!

Afrojack & Shermanology – Can’t Stop Me (Official Preview)

Dancing Astronaut believes that this is Afrojack’s biggest tune since “Take Over Control.” Not only does “Can’t Stop Me” have that great drop along with some outstanding vocals from Shermanology’s lead singer, but it has enough ‘pop’ to it that it will be mainstream in no time. This is also the track that cements Shermanology as the next up and coming trio in the house world (we know they had a great run alongside Tim Berg with “Blessed,” but this is bigger). Take a peek at the preview and get excited for the release.

Release: January 23rd on Wall Recordings
