Here is Finnish DJ/Producer Lenno’s follow-up to his largely successful recent productions including his remixes of “The Night Out” and “Eyes Wide Open.” Taking on Ricki-Lee’s “Do It Like That,” the youngster keeps the catchy original vocals and adds his signature nu-disco touch with a funky bassline and running synth. Lenno has certainly caught our attention with his past three tracks, so you should join us in keeping an eye out for this kid in the future. No word on an official release yet, but stay tuned.

Wolfgang Gartner recently collaborated with Tiesto on “We Own The Night” for his Club Life Miami compilation, and now he is back with a new track all his own. It looks like some of Tiesto’s influence may have rubbed off on Wolfgang, whose new track “Redline” is a departure from past productions. The new offering is uncharacteristically melodic for a Gartner track, with substantial synth sounds and relatively mellow electro elements. We like the melody and the build a lot, and it shows Wolfgang’s ability to experiment with different types of sounds. It feels like the kind of track that would benefit from an acapella immensely, so we’re excited to see what sorts of combinations DJs can come up with. It’s available now on Ultra Records.

We enjoyed reading your captions for Avicii so much last week, we’ve decided to make our caption contests a recurring piece of content on DA. This week’s photo comes from Deadmau5′s Philly stop on his Meowington Hax Tour — and as you can see here, he clearly has something to say about one of his partners in crime, SOFI. But we really want to know your most creative captions for what’s going on in Joel’s head in the picture above. We’re letting you vote on the options and we’re letting anyone submit, so get creative! The list is embedded below. This week the winner gets a shoutout from us on Twitter!

Chuckie’s latest offering features his new Dirty Dutch duo, Glowinthedark, and exceeds usual expectations. Aptly named “Electro Dude,” the dirty Dutch chords and bass remain while the electro-house sound has been elevated to the next level. The track opens with a hypnotizing progression and builds anticipation for the profound drop, which while impressive, hardly does the track justice – yet. Seizure-inducing electro synths grow as the song progresses, providing for the deep kicking drums, all of which will rattle minds. With the vocal – “This is fucking electro, dude” – you can take this track as the new standard of electro-house that the Dirty Dutch crew will be outing this year. Released today via Big Beat Records, “Electro Dude” is now available on Beatport.

Alexander Lager and Johannes Gustafsson, the Swedish duo otherwise known as Qulinez, released their remix of Don Diablo’s “Silent Shadows” on Columbia Records today. As a follow-up to recent successful productions including “A Heavy Abacus” and “Troll,” Qulinez’s latest remix continues in the vein of their signature electro style. While maintaining the chord progression and wobbly undertones of Don Diablo’s original, Qulinez adds a building, whiny synth coupled with a heavy electro kickdrum. The eclectic mix of dubstep-inspired distortions, progressive synths, and hard-hitting electro make the Swedes’ latest track as danceable as it is unique. Give it a listen and head over to Beatport to purchase.

Tiesto and Mark Knight are finally releasing their remix package of “Beautiful World,” a track that took the electronic world by storm once upon a time. Previously an unofficial anthem of Ultra 2011, “Beautiful World” brings a heartening vocal to a harmonious blend of what we love from both DJs. Coming from Toolroom Records, The Ecstasy Remixes features Laidback Luke, Michael Woods, Torqux, Violet Oversoul, and Tom Staar & Sam Young. All five takes are of quality and worth a listen, but the remixes from Laidback Luke and Michael Woods have been gaining recognition months prior to today’s release.
Laidback Luke brings an edgier twist to the classic track with his contagious dance floor drums and synths, supplying a combination of the famous chorus and a wacky groove has created something very abstract from the original from over a year ago. Michael Wood’s remix feels much more natural as his signature drum patterns almost match those of Tiesto’s, only his spin is beyond uptempo with a deeper kick.

After teaming up with fellow dutchman Rene Kuppens to produce “Raid,” Dyro seems to quickly be gaining momentum. This song is huge. The light synths lead to a quick pulsing beat which sets up for an intense drop with a massive bassline. This song is meant to be turned up to maximum volume unless you can listen to it festival sized speakers – then it’s a different experience. This song definitely has a Hardwell feel to it, which makes sense since “Raid” is out now on Hardwell’s Revealed Records. As reader Dustandechoes91 pointed out, the album art is of a RAID card – very clever.

Indonesian producer/DJ Angger Dimas has had a relatively quite 2012 so far, considering how he ended last year with a bang that included the release of his Kitchen EP. Known for his heavy bass lines and dubby scratches, Angger Dimas brings just that to his next remix of Static Revenger’s “Turn The World On.” Led by an ample kick, the remix magnifies the original tenfold and uses the vocal in a more party-appropriate fashion. While we’d like to see more consistency from the 22 year old DJ, this short preview will do justice for now.
Deniz Koyu’s latest offering, the bouncy, big-room “Bong,” follows squarely in the footsteps of his most successful original productions — “Tung” and “Hertz.” After hearing Fedde Le Grand preview it during his radio show, we can’t wait to experience “Bong” on the festival circuit, where Koyu’s tracks typically come alive. “Bong” is very similar to “Tung,” featuring a simple, blaring horn melody sitting atop a powerful bassline. At this point, it’s not quite as punchy as “Tung” or overwhelmingly awesome as “Hertz,” but we’ll give Mr. Koyu a little more time to work on it.
Update: Deniz has taken to Twitter to call the track his ‘follow up to Tung’ for the summer. Well — that raises the stakes.

We like to spend our Sunday afternoons hungover — scouring the far corners of the internet to find the oft-overlooked but still incredibly awesome tracks from under-exposed artists. Today we have “Friendly City” from the moombahton duo Milo & Otis. These two take the familiar sample made famous by Justice on “We Are Your Friends” and warp it to fit their unique 120 BPM, dubby moombahton style. “Friendly City” is Dillon Francis-esque, complete with squealing synths, off-tempo kicks, high-pitched, 8-bit arpeggios and a massive wobble drop. Check out the rest of their Soundcloud for more moombahton goodness – their original “Luck” is exceptional.
