Fresh of his thriving remix to Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” the blazing dBerrie remixes Gossip’s “Perfect World.” Clearly adept at utilizing original vocals, dBerrie created a remix for the clubs with an array of deep bass lines and chord progressions that give a darker feel than most of his productions. The New York resident is surely headed in the right direction and humbly offers his latest remix as a free download. Be sure to keep an eye out for dBerrie especially with the massive amounts of attention he has gained through his latest productions.

Sander van Doorn remains one of the most acclaimed DJs by flaunting his talents behind the decks and in the studio time after time. His latest single, “Nothing Inside,” found itself a nice home atop the Beatport charts and tracks like “What Did I Do” and “Rolling The Dice” have stayed fresh months after release. Even superior may be “Chasin’,” which became so admired that Sander has decided to remodel the original for a radio edit. The new vocal harmonizes with the charming synths and grand drop, taking the track to the next level which has been dubbed “In The City.” The preview says it all, but stay tuned for more information regarding an official release.

One of the most relevant rookies of late, Dyro prolongs his hot streak with yet another feat – his next single along side Loopers, “Monster Talk.” Following the releases of “Saeta” and “Raid,” Laidback Luke puts faith in the young Dutchman’s next original production, having released “Monster Talk” on MixMash Records. The bass line and electro synths create a futuristic and outer space feeling that falls out into uncontrollable rage. The sound is less of what we’ve heard in the past and more of what we will hear in the future, as “Monster Talk” sounds eerily similar to his upcoming Wall single – the Afrojack-debuted “Top of the World.” A certain indication of how far Dyro can take his talents, “Monster Talk” is available on Beatport today.

UR1 Festival to debut during Miami’s Art Basel 2012

UR1 Music Festival is a recently developed music and arts festival taking place on December 8^th & 9^th 2012 during Miami’s Art Basel. Alex Omes and Emi Guerra of GO BIG Productions — who have been behind projects like Ultra Music Festival and Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel — have teamed up to provide a weekend full of live music, performances, and visual arts.

UR1, which stands for “Your Generation,” promises a 4D experience, and “not just a stage for fans to stare at,” according to Omes. More details are promised throughout the summer, including the performers. Organizers promise “some of the most creative musicians and artists in the world participating” and “dream performances.” We just hope the carte blanche mentality involves the return of holographic Tupac or some friends — how cool would that be?

Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Yves V unveil latest remix piece by piece

Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Yves V are taking an interesting approach to their next remix, testing out their fans with an incentive to unveil. Their remix of D-Note’s “Shed My Skin” is now available on SoundCloud – but only the first minute, for now. The trio will release an additional 10 seconds of the track each time it gains another 10,000 listens, until an eventual full-blown release. Dada Life’s May Mix serves up extra potassium

One of our favorite monthly mixtapes comes from none other than Dada Life, who always deliver fresh tracks just as they do their bananas. This month’s installment is no exception, moving into Chuckie and Gregori Klosman’s “The Numb3r5” within minutes, only to be followed by the brand new Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes single, “The Edge.” Laidback Luke’s latest hit, “1234,” also made the cut along with Dada Life’s own “Rolling Stone T-Shirt.” Tracks from Wolfgang Gartner and Nicky Romero can also be found within the mix, but most notably is Dada Life’s remix of Kaskade’s “Llove,” which made its debut at Coachella last month. Thomas Gold recaps Miami Music Week with official after movie

Thomas Gold takes us down memory lane with his official recap of Miami Music Week. Things got underway to a packed crowd at Miami’s newest hotspot, Amnesia, and continued at Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel party the following day. The video also features stops at Mansion 360 (check our recap here) and his own party at Mynt Lounge. It’s remarkable to see how far he’s come in a year’s time. Make sure to watch to the end where we get a preview of “The Beginning,” one of the tracks set for release on Gold’s Axtone compilation.

Known for his dutch production style, it makes sense that Sidney Samson’s outings are filled with bleepiness that is most evident in his latest single, “Get Low.” Already a fun and party-friendly track, Sidney has crafted a remix to please those who may not be so favorable for his bleep-heavy style. The ‘No Bleep Remix’ is exactly what it sounds like – “Get Low” without the abundance of bleeps, which have been replaced with simpler progression.
