It’s hard to believe that it took Pacha NYC this long to bring the Swedish techno icon Adam Beyer to their storied dancing facility. For almost two decades, the man has been pioneering a relentless spree of banging tech house and techno, using his Drumcode label as the driving force behind his quest to showcase the works of legends and rising stars alike. “Memesis,” a bit of a package deal with Len Faki’s remix of the Beyer & Fitzpatrick‘s 2011 smasher “Human Reason,” is out this week on Drumcode. “Memesis” is about as dark as techno gets. We’ve got dramatic synth stabs and droning basslines to deliver a full-on assault to your more shadowy senses. Crossing our fingers we hear this one in a set soon.
