Riding on a high after reaching 30,000 Facebook likes and releasing collaboration “NaNaNa” with fellow Dutchman Moti, Alvaro feverishly thanks his fans by giving away free download “Most Wanted.” Already raking in support from the all-mighty Tiësto during his Ultra set, the track boasts ground-shaking bass reminiscent previous productions “World in Our Hands“ and “Rock Music.” Stay tuned for his much anticipated release “Welcome to the Jungle,” while in the mean time Google image search “Alvaro Most Wanted” for some truly terrifying mug shots.
Since teaming up with Tiësto on the Ultra Music Festival anthem, “United,” the young Dutch tandem of Quintino and Alvaro have been hard at work in the studio. Without veteran influence, they let their refreshing sounds shine on “World In Our Hands” as Quintino’s aggressive electro supports the build and Alvaro’s frenetic bleeps bring the energy to new heights. While the beat may be rough around the edges, the vocal loops and melodic upswings make for a well-rounded offering from Spinnin Records.

Alvaro won’t stop after teaming up with Tiësto and Quintino for an Ultra anthem on “United.” Although without the flare of the festival ode, Alvaro turns up the dial on Dutch house with his remix for Bang La Deck’s “Kuedon.” The screeching synths come straight out of Alvaro’s textbook, with resemblance to his monster hit “Make The Crowd Go,” and recent Revealed release, “Rock Music.” Along with the Dutch rendition, the remix package for “Kuedon” comes with a take from Jacked newbie Leroy Styles.

Collaborating with Tiësto on one of the UMF anthems isn’t quite enough for Dutchmen Quintino & Alvaro — the pair has just teased fans with a preview of their latest collaboration, “World In Our Hands,” set for a March 29th release on Spinnin Records. The track is a veritable hands-up dedication to the bliss of success and although preview is only about 40 seconds long, you can be sure it’ll be a summertime big room tune for all to enjoy.
Tiësto has been busy in the studio these past few months, releasing remixes for both Passion Pit’s “Carried Away” and Zedd’s“Clarity,“ while premiering a remix to Dada Life’s“So Young So High.” On top of his diverse remix duties, Tiësto’s collaboration alongside fellow Dutchmen Quintino and Alvaro, “United,” is out today on Ultra Records. The three-way collaboration is a propelling big room track, wielding an extensive chord-laden build up and a buoyant Dutch house drop.
Tiësto, Quintino, & Alvaro’s work is being released as the first official Ultra Music Festival Anthem in a series of four UMF Anthems, including productions from Benny Benassi, Afrojack, and Avicii. Is it the best work from these three producers? Certainly not. Will it inspire a riotous response in Miami? Most definitely. “United” is worthy of being a UMF Anthem for the sole reason that it is catchy, digestible, and joyfully rowdy.

Ultra Music Festival is two weeks ahead, but the first of its anthems is only two days ahead. Tiësto has previewed the upcoming collaboration with Quintino and Alvaro, “United,” a thumping dutch production with synths eerily similar to those of Axwell’s “Heart Is King.” “United” will serve as one of Ultra’s anthems in addition to Afrojack’s “Air Guitar” and perhaps others on the way. Due for a March 5th release, it will drop the same day as another Tiësto-Quintino joint, Musical Freedom’s “Chasing Summers” remix.
Previewed on the 100th episode of Hardwell on Air, Alvaro‘s debut release on Revealed Recordings is anything but subtle. Infused with a heavy helping of Dutch flair, “Rock Music” embodies it’s namesake with festival-friendly chord progressions and a feverishly frenetic breakdown. With a heavy-handed drop and aggressive synth stabs reminiscent of the Dutch sound that took the scene by storm in 2010, Alvaro’s latest is an Ultra Music Festival staple in the making.

Alvaro is back with another single after seeing huge support for his last two releases, “Pay Attention to the Drums” and “Make the Crowd Go.” His latest offering, “Make Me Jump” starts off with some airy synthwork leading into a progressive build with a stomach-turning drop and a throaty, horn-filled bassline. Although we can’t quite place the influence, the sounds are extremely familiar – a touch of Laidback Luke may have snuck its way into the production. “Make Me Jump” is now available from Musical Freedom on Beatport.
Fresh off his release of “Make The Crowd Go,” Alvaro returns with another frenetic electro beat. “Pay Attention To The Drums” builds softly, but drops properly with rolling drums and screeching synths. The fast paced nature of the track follows Alvaro’s signature style that we are quickly becoming accustomed to. Hit Beatport for the official release via MixMash Records.
