Solidisco amplify their electro-driven disco productions as nu-disco continues to gain power into the new year. The duo, hailing from Buffalo, NY, first impressed us with “Set Me Free” back in September and we haven’t been able to get enough their classic disco vibes since.

The duo’s latest remix abides to Solidisco’s seemingly signature 70s flavor, giving the Benny Benassi-produced, Anjulie track “You and I” a funky makeover. Their rendition of the track walks the line between modern and retro with forceful synths and penetrating kick drums, creating a rework with a glittering disco ball appeal.

Anjulie – Brand New Bitch (Laidback Luke Remix)

Arguably one of the most technically talented DJs in the game right now, Laidback Luke brings us this stinging remix of Anjulie’s “Brand New Bitch.”

The track bounces in the usual LBL fashion. Chopped minimalistic drums accompany simple yet catchy basslines with big builds and sweeps. It’s no “Take Over Control,” but luckily we can expect some big things from this Dirty Dutch phenom in the near future — he’s re-teaming up with Wynter Gordon to bring us a vocal mix of the monster track “Speak Up”
