The Nightclub & Bar Media Group releases 2013 Nightclub & Bar Award winners

We’ve talked about which nightclubs and bars make the most paper, but which of these are the best in terms of concept development, operations, promotion, innovation and success? The Nightclub & Bar Media Group has released these answers. The group of judges that determined was made of top industry professionals, journalists, owners, and consultants. There were almost 500 entries in the 26 categories and judges used a ranking methodology to determine the winners. There are 9 bar, 8 nightclub, and 9 Vegas categories. No coincidence that several of the winners in these categories also rake in the most cash.

Can you guess 2012′s highest grossing nightclubs and bars in the US?

Technomic’s numbers for 2012′s highest grossing nightclubs, bars, and lounges are out. Who do you think tops the list? Last year Marquee Nightclub/Dayclub in Las Vegas and XS in Las Vegas took the number one and two spots. Eight out of the top ten grossers were in Vegas. This year, there are 21 entries on the list from Vegas alone, 22 from California, and 8 from New York. Click through to check out the list in its entirety.
