Scuba‘s “Beam Me Up” collaboration with (the formerly anonymous) Will Saul/Close alias is a fantastic track on its own, but George Fitzgerald‘s remix converts it from a slow-grinding track heavy on the atmosphere to a jumping house groover. Fitzgerald not only alters the structure of the song but also reworks Charlene Soraia’s vocals in just the right way. Close’s full debut LP is set for a release date in June, but this remix is out now on !K7 Records.

Cazzette drops video for ‘Beam Me Up’ one week ahead of debut album

Cazzette is finally unveiling the official video for their chart-topping “Beam Me Up,” only one week ahead of next week’s debut album release. The video parallels public sighting of a UFO with uncontrollable, widespread dance. The UFO appears to be the same iconic cassette tape figure that Alex and Seb often mask themselves with on stage, and after being spotted, the video breaks into live festival footage.

The quirkiness of the video is what we are used to from the Swedish duo, so expect it to come in full force when Eject is released on November 13th.
