Firebeatz & Bobby Burns – Ding Dong (Original Mix)

Firebeatz Bobby Burns Ding Dong

Firebeatz have already had a laudable 2013 with big releases on Spinnin’ and Fly Eye Records thus far. Adding to their list of top notch label releases, the duo’s newest single alongside fellow Dutchman Bobby Burns is out now on Musical Freedom. Receiving its name from the nasally pre-drop sample and various doorbell noises embedded throughout, “Ding Dong” is a vehicle of restless energy from start to finish. Beginning with a carefree, high-pitched melody and charging electro house drop, “Ding Dong” is supplemented by a brief chord-laden bridge before returning to its feverish acceleration.

Firebeatz and Bobby Burns have teamed up to give Musical Freedom its next booming record. The Firebeatz boys are coming off the success of “Gangster” and are looking towards “Yeahhhh” while Bobby Burns’ latest “Lemonade” is nearly a week old. Together, their forces bring a combination of their personal dance tactics to make “Ding Dong” a bass-heavy, electro-laden offering fitting for the nature of Tiësto’s imprint.

Release Date: April 30th

Bobby Burns – MontBlanc (Original Mix)

6585198

It’s been almost a year since Bobby Burns has released “Next,” his last solo production, but the Jacked resident has finally bounced back with an impressive and highly anticipated release. After working with Afrojack on “Bridge” and “Ghettoblaster,” and joining him on tour, Bobby takes to Wall Recordings for his latest offering. “MontBlanc” boasts a gritty electro backbone, melodic undertones, and of course, a subtle taste of the Jacked flavor. We’re glad to see Burns return to the release circuit and it’s safe to say his latest effort has been worth the wait.

Afrojack announces ‘Jacked’ summer tour: dates, ticket information, and special guests

We’ve been hearing about a huge Afrojack tour for a few weeks now, and MTV just broke all the details of the massive production. The ‘Jacked’ tour will have over thirty shows when it kicks off in May, and he will be bringing along the usual crew including Quintino, Bobby Burns, R3hab, and select performances with Shermanology. Afrojack has been on a tare lately, with a massive set at Ultra Music Festival over a month ago and back-to-back appearances at both weekends of Coachella. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, April 20th, at 10AM ‘local time’ on Ticketmaster and LiveNation. We’ve embedded a list of the confirmed dates below, and it looks pretty staggering to say the least. (Not to mention the fact that more dates will probably be added.) Between Kaskade’s Freaks of Nature tour, Avicii’s Le7els arena tour, and now Jacked, it’s looking like a pretty amazing summer for American EDM fans.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether Lil’ Jon will be in attendance this time around.

Update: Tour teaser video added above.

Update 2: More dates added!

Roger Sanchez presents Stealth Miami at the Fontainebleau: photos, tracks, and how it went down

Stealth-Miami-Dancing-Astronaut-005

Merely a few hours after touching down in Miami we headed over to the Arkadia pool at the Fontainebleau, and while most people were sitting down for lunch, we were basking in sun and beats of Roger Sanchez’ Stealth Miami party. Sebastien Drums, Adrian Lux, Funkagenda, and several other openers warmed up the crowd and decks with a variety of not-easily-identified tracks — which is somewhat refreshing given the insane amount of overlap between most EDM sets these days. As much fun as it is to listen to “Levels,” “One,” “Take Over Control,” and other similarly popular songs, it’s often more fun to have to turn to a fellow partygoer and ask, “WHAT THE FMIF IS THIS?”

Dancing Astronaut’s Ultimate Guide To Halloween Weekend: Las Vegas

xs_tryst_halloween2011

Why isn’t Halloween a nationally recognized holiday? Nearly all young professionals and students go out and treat it as one of the biggest occasions of the entire year. You spend time planning your costume and where you’re going to party. Do corporate offices really want you to come in the next day hungover and less productive than normal? Of course not, but that’s what sick days are for. Hopefully this guide makes you want to stay a few extra days in the city of sin, so if you do decide to lengthen your stay make sure to keep this in mind: If you decide to go out, make sure you crush it. “I have work tomorrow” and “I have an early flight to catch,” are not valid excuses to tank a night out in one of the best cities in the entire world. If you are in that category, well, you might as well not have gone in the first place.

In this guide, we’ll break down the daily EDM events going down in each venue. That being said, we have a disclaimer. XS Nightclub decided to go balls to the wall and absolutely blow out their lineup. You could book a room in the Wynn or Encore and never even have to leave for the entire weekend. While new venues and different hotels add to the experience, are you really going to miss Avicii, Axwell, Alesso, Deadmau5 or Afrojack? That’s what we thought. Anyhow, make your decisions accordingly and thoroughly, any funny sexual excursions embarked upon during Halloween weekend that you would like to share with us can be sent to contact@dancingastronaut.com.

Afrojack & Bobby Burns – Bridge (Original Mix)

One of the most noticeable duo’s in house music strike again! ‘Bridge’ is a great track that has been released on Wall Recordings. Every time Afrojack and Bobby Burns come out with a tune I want more. I’m going to keep this on repeat for the rest of day, I suggest you do it as well.

Doesn’t this remind you a little bit of ‘Replica’?
