Butch Clancy just released his bass-fueled track “Xlam” for free via his Soundcloud. This Detroit-based producer has been laying down intricately produced bass music for the past few years but his sound has definitely matured on his latest release. Flexing his dubstep muscle, Butch strikes a delicate balance between throaty groans and floaty melodies – a balance that is so often missing from most dubstep releases. Equally heavy-hitting as it is bouncy, “Xlam” will appeal to bassheads and casual dubstep fans alike.
