Exclusive: Morten Breum releases two dance heavy mash-ups for fans

Denmark legend Morten Breum has been a long time favorite here at Dancing Astronaut. After mixing the 19th episode of Axis and releasing a track for Space Food Vol. 1, Breum is back with two more mashups to keep fans satisfied. “Look Up Universe” combines the soulful lyrics of Carli’s “Look Up” with the slow rolling drum breakdown from David Tort’s remix of Feenixpawl’s “Universe.” “Yes vs Bucky Done Gun” is more of a straightforward mash-up but the two tracks from Deorro and M.I.A really work well together, creating a fun bouncy tune – as Breum calls it, a “hill billy” mash-up. Swedish producer Carli Löf makes his debut on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold imprint with the release of the disco-electro crossover “Look Up.” From the first bar you think the track is going to hold its ground as a traditional nu-disco release – featuring a soulful vocal segment and groovy rhythm.
