Their signature sound works wonders in tandem with the enchanting vocal, much like it did for the acclaimed “Walls,” which landed in the hands of Tiesto. Grab Sultan and Ned’s next party starter from Beatport and keep these guys on your radar.

Taking a break from touring has been great for Deadmau5, and it seems the time is being well-spent working hard in the studio — or hanging out in Swedish House Mafia’s. Deadmau5′s most recent releases have had ridiculous genres like “catstep” and “pigstep,” but today’s work-in-progress, “Closer,” is something the mau5 likes to call “StevenSpeilbergstep.” The song starts off with deep synths that sound like the Deadmau5 of yesteryear that slowly build to include a bass beat about halfway through. All these recent previews have us speculating about an upcoming album — we’ll be sure to let you know if we hear moar.
