Copyright – Lifted EP
If you’re a regular listener of the weekly Defected In The House radio show, the name Copyright should already ring a bell. The London duo usually responsible for manning the Defected decks on the first hour of the label’s podcast every week, is out with a new EP entitled Lifted. There are few house tunes that can display a stronger element of positivity and sheer joy than the title track, featuring Andre Espeut. Conversely, young Spanish producer Pablo Fierro provides a bouncy and deep take on the track while Copyright’s second original from the release, “Sometimes” spotlights a jazzy sax riff and atop a bit of a tropical groove.
