Nervo and Nicky Romero outed one of the biggest releases in progressive house last month with “Like Home,” and the track is now available in the form of its remixes. With help from Nervo’s vocal, the original became a mainstream staple, but Dannic, Dillon Francis, and Gregor Salto have spun “Like Home” in new directions.
Dannic boosts the progression on his take, supplementing his trademark baseline and melodic undertones. Dillon’s facelift strays the furthest with injections of moombah, leaving no trace of Nicky’s original flare. Salto’s version removes all evidence of a feel-good day-time track, creating a deep, dark tune for late night party goers. Listen to all three remixes beyond the break and find the package on Beatport via Romero’s Protocol imprint.

Proving himself banger by banger, Dannic wastes no time returning to the remix circuit after the release of “Flare.” The Dutch rookie takes Rita Ora’s pop tune “Shine Ya Light” head on, swapping the radio-oriented framework for his signature percussion and bassline. Dannics revered progression plays well with the original’s vocal, and along with a captivating piano build, makes for a melodic effort that caters to the dance floor. Take the translatable pop record to the dance arena with Dannic’s club mix of “Shine Ya Light,” now available on iTunes.

Franky Rizardo and Roul & Doors make their debut on Revealed Recordings with “Elements,” a tribal, percussion-driven production. Hardwell and Dannic, who recently collaborated on “Say Nothing,” will release a remix of “Elements” alongside the original. Their dirtier more Dutch-oriented rendition of “Elements” is reminiscent of Congorock’s “Babylon,” which is not a bad thing. The duo’s styles seamlessly blend together in emphatic, big room unison. Check it out under the break.

Fresh off multiple collaborations with fellow Breda export Hardwell, Dutch DJ/producer Dannic is back with a solo release on his co-conspirator’s Revealed Recordings. On “Flare,” Dannic dresses a throwback acid bass line in all the trappings of mainstream progressive house, employing riser synths and stuttered snares to guide the listener through resonant builds and chord-driven breakdowns. While the track errs on the side of formulaic, it showcases Dannic’s technical acumen in a production tailored for dance floor traction. Expect to hear this one again on the festival circuit, and head to Beatport to grab your own copy.

Hardwell has linked up with rising young producer and progressive companion, Dannic, for a remix of Example’s lastest single “Say Nothing.” The collaborative effort, expected to be a harder hitting progressive effort, boasts more of a big room vibe than anything else. Appropriately, Hardwell and Dannic attach euphoric builds and melodic synths to the track’s already-uplifting vocal. Flirting with anthem status, the latest dutch twist on Example’s “Say Nothing” is sure to make its way into DJ sets this month so head to iTunes for your copy.
