With a realm of successful releases already on the slate for both Dirtybird and Moda Black, Dave Spoon’s Shadow Child moniker has added considerable notches to the long serving British producer’s industrious artillery. Off the back of remix duties alongside T. Williams for his own Toolroom classic “At Night,” Yousef and Defected Records are the next in line to see the darker side of Simon Neale’s musical artillery in full effect. Driving solid grooves and murky melodic elements alongside Charli’s distinctive top line, “I See” sees this much adored alter ego excel the ranks of minimalistic house music. Compared to Yousef’s smoother original, the Shadow Child rendition breaths murky underground aptitude into an otherwise seamless crossbreed of British club wizardry away from the safer turns of deep house.

Get down to this trancey masterpiece that’ll have you jumping up and down in any crowd. German native and local tech house legend Patric La Funk has made a name for himself with his popular remixes of Axwell, Steve Angello, Moguai and Dave Spoon tracks. This progressive banger is a good indication of what he can do on his own, though. Expect to see this blasted in big rooms and at festivals very very soon.
