deadmau5 spins 2 hour set of ‘full on techno-actual-good-music’
After taking Avicii's spot at Ultra Music Festival and kicking off his set with the troll heard round the world, deadmau5 delivered on his post-Ultra promise and streamed a two hour set live from his home studio. Defined as "full on techno-actual-good-music," deadmau5's impromptu performance stays true to form and is comprised of an eclectic array of brimming electronica, with a selection of tracks that most of the EDM-fans he reviles could never be able to identify. In addition to a handful of his own original productions, IDs and works in progress, the outspoken talent pays homage to greats Ricardo Villalobos, Carlo Ruetz, Joris Voorn, Audion and more... but not without taking one last playful jab at Avicii, mixing Miro Pajic's "Digits" into "Levels."
