Start your week with singer/songwriter Delilah‘s Camden Palace Mixtape, a tightly knit compilation of some of the best of garage, two-step, and bass music out of UK scene this past year. The mix is chock full of big tunes from Zed Bias, Joe Goddard, Julio Bashmore, Wookie, Sneaker Pimps, and MJ Cole. Be sure to also listen for several of Delilah’s own productions like “Love You So,” “Inside My Love,” and “Shades of Grey” to pick up exactly why she’s one of the most coveted vocalists in the game right now.
Rudimental dropped a new track on their Soundcloud page yesterday, and we couldn’t be happier it features Angel Haze. “Hell Could Freeze” is one part RnB soul jam and one part syncopated house track. Angel, alternating between spitting dirty rap lines and sickly sweet tones, also shows her diversity. Think of what would happen if Delilah and Azealia Banks made a baby and you’ll get the swagger of Angel Haze.
We’ve been bringing you some great drum and bass tracks lately and have another for you today. Some of you might remember the British singer/songwriter, Delilah, from her vocals on the Chase & Status single “Time.” She has gained the reputation of being one of the top vocalists for bass music and demonstrates why on her latest track “Love You So.” Drum and Bass producer Lenzman provides the rolling kick drum beat while Delilah’s voice drifts over the airy violin riff. This is out on Atlantic Records, December 18th. Available to pre-order now.
