Krewella is marching forward with their album success alongside their latest single, releasing the “Live for the Night” Remix EP. Both before and after a monumental debut performance on Good Morning America as the first dance music performance on a morning show broadcast, the single has gained rapid attention from both pop and dance music culture. This compilation of remixes has an incredible assortment of variety, ranging from heavier dub-bass sounds from Xilent and a taste of hardstyle from Pegboard Nerds to Dash Berlin’s escalating, airy progressive house take on Jahan and Yasmine’s vocals. Finally, W&W and Danny Avila & Deniz Koyu each take on a hard-hitting house approach to “Live for the Night,” creating a five-track EP that transforms the tune into something new with every artist rendition.

Earlier this year, Krewella’s success for their monster hit, “Alive,” was elevated to its highest potential with the steady release of remixes that satisfied every and all music palates. Their most recent success, “Live for the Night,” will follow in the footsteps of “Alive” and release a remix package that will expand the range of the already upbeat and catchy original. With the likes of W&W and Dash Berlin (who both released theirs on Soundcloud last month), Xilent, Danny Avila & Deniz Koyu, and Pegboard Nerds, their most recent hit will undergo the remix treatment and broaden the reach of this Chicago trio.
As a little preview to the full compilation, the trio debuted the Pegboard Nerds remix of their track. Most fans will already be familiar with the Nerds – they have been a consistent force in the trio’s remixes and, most recently, their “This is Not The End” off of Get Wet. This Scandinavian duo reworks the track into hardstyle, which has been a personal favorite style of Krewella as of late. It is jam-packed with speed and high energy, with glimpses of glitch-hop (in true Nerds’ style) and a few dips into trap. It’s a dub-filled treat that will satisfy both Nerd’s fans and the Krew until the full remix package is released on November fifth.
Since being released as an official single from Get Wet, Krewella‘s “Live For The Night“ has picked up steam as a proper follow up to “Alive.” Even then, their sophomore commercial success won’t end its originally product. Already being remixed by the likes of Dash Berlin and W&W, the track has also landed in the hands of Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila for a Generation Wild tag team twist. The tour mates give an electro spice to Krewella’s flavorful vocals and, while you can sample the preview below, stream it exclusively on Spotify.

Months after the tour bus came to its stop, Deniz Koyu is still reliving the best moments from Generation Wild, his headlining tour alongside Danny Avila. After reliving the experience through his own mini documentary, Deniz reaches into the bank of footage to aid the music video for his latest single. With a title indicative of the what Generation Wild brought the nation, the visuals for the Refune-released “Rage” feature less footage from behind the scenes and more behind the booth.
