Trap hero Baauer has uploaded the Disclosure remake that we heard at Coachella to his Soundcloud page. Eliza Doolittle’s vocals on ”You & Me” gets the Chippendale’s treatment as Bauuer ups the tempo while doing his best to maintain the song’s original elements. The dance-focus vibe remains intact, offering a refreshingly different side of Baauer. One thing’s for sure: the energy in this remix is primed for the dance floor, so don’t be surprised if this gem gets heavy rotation throughout the summer season.Posted by

For the various attempts at boxing their sound, Disclosure have remained an eclectic force on the global club circuit. But while the road to the duos forthcoming debut album, Settle, has not seen them shy from a well-oiled topline or two, their latest single “You & Me” alongside Eliza Doolittle proves no exception. As a fluidly flowing cross-section of radio-friendly sensibilities and relevantly tailored sounds from across dance music’s dotted timeline, the track adds to a seamless track-record for the British brothers and their popular streak of chart-savvy club fuel. Undoubtedly growing stronger with age, the hype behind their forthcoming album is sure to hit an all-time-high off the back of this melodic landmark.

In the wake of several exciting American festival appearances and their first-ever Vegas dayclub spot, the Disclosure boys have unleashed their third single from their upcoming debut album Settle, due out on June 3rd. Not only are Guy and Howard Lawrence pioneering their own fresh sounds, but it’s clear they’ve got a knack for recruiting sultry female vocalists to top off their expertly crafted productions. On “You & Me,” UK vocalist Eliza Doolittle does what Jessie Ware and Aluna of AlunaGeorge have before her in adding a smooth vocal hook to the jazzy production licks. Disclosure show no signs of slowing.Posted by
After two days of scorching sun, the earlier part of our third day in Indio was spent much the same way – glued to the tents where Paul Kalkbrenner, Paul Oakenfold, Hardwell, Eric Prydz, Joris Voorn, James Blake, Pretty Lights, Maya Jane Coles, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, and Richie Hawtin would deliver some of the days stand out performances. As the day wore on the wind picked up, transforming the polo grounds into a massive dust storm, tearing through the campsites with a vengeance.
The Coachella Arts and Music Festival has been host to some of the most groundbreaking talent in music throughout its 15 year history. Although relatively modest, this year’s electronic dance music presence at Coachella is the largest since its 1999 debut. Staying true to form, Goldenvoice’s bookings represent some of the most exciting artists in electronic music today – a group whose talents extend across a broad swathe of sound and styles. With the 2013 lineup heavily expanding its electronic offerings, we felt it only appropriate to share our must-see picks from the viewpoint of four fans heading out to Indio for the type of musical experience only three days in the desert could provide.

Ultra Music Festival stands alone, distant from the EDCs of the world, as the landmark event for every DJ that graces the decks of its stages. Much like how football fans have the instinctual ability to recall the stars and game changing plays of Superbowls past, electronic fans will, naturally, always remember their favorite artists, the corresponding set list and major moments from any given year at Ultra.
Headliners of the annual festival share the same glory as Superbowl MVPs, but it’s also the opportunity for dance music rookies to find their breakthrough with one everlasting set, to be remembered in the same vein as the Superbowl rookie who becomes immortalized with one historic catch. With hundreds of DJs slated to perform at Ultra this year, we take a narrow look at the members of the freshman class who are due to establish themselves under the South Beach sun this March.

AlunaGeorge‘s genre-fusing productions have gained the UK duo recognition around the globe in the last year. After reaching #2 on the UK Billboard Singles chart for their collaborative effort with fellow Brits Disclosure on “White Noise,”Aluna Francis (vocals) and George Reid (production) are ready to reveal details of their forthcoming debut album.
The two announced the release date of their now-named Body Music LP, which is set for July 1 via Island Records. Along with this announcement, the duo unveiled the title of their next single “Attracting Flies” which was played for the first time on Zane Lowe‘s BBC Radio 1 show last and will be released March 10. The track is a bubbling warped beat which bounces off Francis’ soft vocals with ease creating another polished poppy production from the rising duo.
