Michael Woods – Platinum Chains (Starkillers & Dmitry KO Let The Love Edit) [Free Download]

PlatinumChainsLTLedit

It’s no industry secret that the addition of anthemic vocals can propel a dance track from appreciated instrumental to crossover commercial bomb (see “Fade into Darkness” and “Calling (Lose My Mind)”). Michael Woods’s latest offering ”Platinum Chains” certainly qualifies as the former, and Starkillers & Dmitry KO have arrived with a soaring edit to try and achieve the latter.

By infusing Woods’ already dynamic production with Amba Shepherd’s lovely vocals from their own “Let the Love” release, the duo have successfully married two musical concepts in a decidedly Kaskade-like fashion. As a thank you token to the fans who supported them in Miami this year, Starkillers & Dmitry KO are making the custom edit available for download on the latter’s Soundcloud page below.

Starkillers, Dmitry KO & Amba Shepherd – Let The Love (Original Mix)

Frequent collaborators Starkillers and Dmitry KO are back at it, this time with “Apollo” vocalist, Amba Shepherd. Their latest tag-team project, the follow up to “Keep Pushing,” has both producers unloading their arsenals with traces of progressive house and big room energy. “Let The Love” is relentless from start to finish; from the chord progression, to the abundance of synth work, to a trance-reminiscent vocal hook. The melodic backbone brings the track full circle as it defies genres — but this isn’t the first time the duo have done dance music a favor.

Starkillers, Dmitry KO & Richard Beynon – Keep Pushing (Original Mix)

Starkillers

Starkillers and Dmitry KO return to the successful formula that produced “Don’t Hold Back,” bringing you their latest offering, “Keep Pushing.” Nick Terranova has emerged as a serious production talent – ever since “Pressure” took off last year – and shows no signs of slowing down. His latest single, which has also been released off Spinnin’ Records, features a soulful vocal that syncs with deep and bouncy bass, and the standard Starkillers progression contributes to the dance-savy single per usual. If you are feeling the contagious nature of this track, head to Beatport for the release.

Starkillers & Dmitry KO – Light It Up (Michael Woods Re-Edit)

Michael-Woods-Pacha-2

Michael Woods creates a deeper edit of Starkillers and Dmitry KO’s “Light It Up.” With a thick bassline and a hard hitting drop, it’s no wonder why Michael Woods is well heralded in the progressive house world. The robotic vocals are made to pump you up as they mesh perfectly with the build up throughout the entire tune. Make sure you give Woods’ remix of “How R U Feeling Right Now” a good hard listen — it is sure to be a Miami anthem especially with all the boys from the Axtone Records team.

Starkillers & Dmitry KO – Do You Love (Original Mix)

The creators of “Unbelievable” and “Odessa” produce a dirty electro track that requires you to have a tetanus shot soon after listening. We like to describe this tune as ‘heavy’, everything about it is just thick and juicy. Most of the time uplifting lyrics such as the ones used in “Do You Love” are put on a more progressive tune, we think it works just fine on this bassline. The Bingo Players signed this track to their own imprint Hysteria Records, needless to say they know electro house. Be prepared because this is one of those songs that allows for excessive fist pumping, so make sure to stretch those shoulders before raging to this track.
