After dropping the radio edit of “Gold” this summer, 15-year-old Erik Arboresis back with the extended club mix.While not straying too far from the original’s melody, the club mix is definitely darker, complete with a heavy helping of grinding electro.The track has already seen support from big names like Steve Aoki, Shermanology and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – we can safely say this teen will be around for a while. The young Dutchman, Erik Arbores, is back with his first release on Spinnin’ Records. “Gold” is an uplifting house track that slowly builds and falls with an upbeat bassline, and drops with a nice kick. This is definitely a progression from some of his other songs as his signature sound should continues to develop with age. Erik van den Boom is a 14 year old producer from the Netherlands who knows a lot more about music than your average kid. He is better known as Erik Arbores and he also happens to be an avid DA fan. His first EP “Take it” was released on Zouk Recordings (a subdivision of Armada Records) in September 2011 and more recently released “Babylon/On the Move” in February.
