We were admittedly a bit surprised last week when Zedd’s Clarity EP was released featuring only a select few of the anticipated remixes. Thankfully, as we later learned, the renditions by Tiësto, Brillz, and Style of Eye constituted only the iTunes segment of the official remixes. Today, Zedd and Interscope Records have released the official Beatport edition of the Clarity EP, boasting 10 productions from talented producers such as Funkagenda, Headhunterz, Felix Cartel, Torro Torro, Swanky Tunes and more. While Brillz’s take stole the spotlight on part one, click past the break to find out which remixes excelled above the rest in this colossal remix package.

After a wildly successful remix contest and remix EP for Zedd’s ”Spectrum,” it seemed only natural that Clarity‘s eponymous single should receive the same treatment. While the remixes started back in November with Aylen’s lovestep rework, it was only last week that Zedd unveiled the sumptuous roster of producers for the official “Clarity” remix package.
With renditions from Tiësto, Style of Eye, Brillz, and an orchestral edit from Zedd himself, the “Clarity” remix package is just as daunting as its counterpart’s previous package. Curious to see whose stole the spotlight? Click past the break to read our review.

We’ve always enjoyed house music that incorporates the Killers. Whether it be Pierce Fulton’s blissful take on “Runaways,” or Hardwell’s mashup of Alesso’s “Silenced By the Night” and “Mr. Brightside,” Brandon Flower’s voice is more than ideal for progressive house productions. Taking on the second single off the Killers’ recent Battle Born LP, Project 46 provide a deliciously dark remix of “Miss Atomic Bomb.” Straying from their usual blend of uplifting, chord-driven drops, Project 46 deliver a bulkier progressive house output. It might just be our favorite work from the Canadian duo yet. If you enjoy the remix, pick it up for free from SoundCloud.
Bonus: Felix Cartal dropped a free remix of “Miss Atomic Bomb” about a week ago. Click past the break to hear his rendition.

Felix Cartal departs from his typical electro house driven style with his new tune “Lullaby” featuring vocals from Natalie Angiuli. Cartal and Angiuli teamed up on his previous track “No Sleep” and “Lullaby” is the B-side for that track. According to his Soundcloud, the American-based producer wanted to create something less aggressive and more melodic and “Lullaby” does just that. The song begins with Angiuli’s warm vocals, while Cartal creates a slow-building kick-drum driven chord. Cartal arranges a laid back beat allowing for the strength of Angiuli’s sexy vocals to take control.

Holding it down for Canada’s big room house contingent, Felix Cartal has returned with “No Sleep,” a brand new original featuring the vocal talent of Natalie Angiuli. The track begins with an otherwise simple progression of piano chords, turned infatuating by Angiuli’s dreamy voice. This leads the way for a magnificently massive build up of soaring synth stabs, aptly setting the tone for the vigorous, rumbling electro drop. “No Sleep” will be released on Dim Mak Records on December 4th. For now, you can satisfy yourself with the lengthy preview below.

Autoerotique is back to scramble our brains with their remix of Felix Cartal’s, “Tonight.” Their version of the track contains all the necessary elements of a hit including lots of bass, addictive vocals, a melodic build, and an absolutely massive drop. These additions take the track from Hollister’s Summer 2012 Playlist — the original landed itself on this list — to a dance-floor ready bomb. We have our fingers crossed that this track will be dropped at Electric Zoo.

Jesse Keeler is the second half of Death From Above 1979 alongside Sebastien Grainger, so it’s only appropriate that he signed on to do an official remix of Felix Cartal’s “H.U.N.T.” Under the moniker JFK, he transforms the upbeat original into a grunge heavy rocker. With a breakdown reminiscent of Bart B More’s breakneck-paced, acid-house-style and howling synths to match Sebastien’s howling vocals, JFK’s remix of “H.U.N.T.” easily outshines the original. Buy it on Beatport today.
