It seems that the crew behind Holy Ship have some big plans in store for next year’s festivities. They’ve announced plans to move the party to a larger-than-life cruise ship called the MSC Divina. As if the grand experience could get any better, this year’s boat includes indoor and outdoor pools, a bowling ally, water slides, a full size theater, a state-of-the-art nightclub, and a much larger surface area for the non-stop party to go on as planned. This event looks like it’s going to be one for the books. Pre-booking is sold out, but you can still join the waiting list on Holy Ship’s website.Posted by
HARD Events’ second annual voyage of the electronic music cruise Holy Ship!! took place this past January, sailing on a luxury liner from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Nassau, Bahamas and casually stopping along the way for a beach rave on a private island. On top of an announcement for 2014′s Holy Ship!!! (notice the extra exclamation points), they’ve also released a seven minute recap video of this year’s event — capturing the best of sets from Diplo, the dirtybird crew, Skrillex, Justice, A-Trak, Skream & Benga, Knife Party, Tommy Trash, and countless more. There’s nothing that doesn’t look ridiculously fun about this boat rave — let’s all go next year. Pre-booking opens March 5 at 12pm EST (with preference to those who’ve sailed on previous voyages). Best of Instagram is a feature from Dancing Astronaut that showcases our favorite pictures from our favorite DJs on Instragram each week. This week, we’ve got gems from Steve Angello, Rukes, Dillon Francis, and more.
HARD Events has announced the full schedule for the second coming of their quite unique Holy Ship! rave-on-a-cruise-ship, this year from January 4-7 traveling from Florida through the Bahamas. The festival has been sold out for months (sorry if you thought you could still get in on the party), but if you’re one of the lucky few to have snagged tickets, start prepping for your Dirtybird Disco, Rump Shaker parties, Earstorms, and Island Parties. Come back and tell us how it was. Check out Friday’s schedule above and Saturday and Sunday’s below.
Most EDM festivals and concerts are relatively similar but Holy Ship offers up a unique experience — and a unique lineup to match. The cruise/concert combo takes party-goers mobile — traveling around the Bahamas and Florida — set to a soundtrack DJed by a variety of artists. The recently announced lineup for the next Holy Ship (January 4-7, 2013), is a refreshing change of pace. Returning artists include, Diplo, A-Trak, Gesaffelstein, and Dillon Francis but the lineup also includes a slew of new artists like Tommy Trash, Justice, Jack Beats, Crookers and Zedd.
Those who pre-booked their spots on the ship can expect an email with their booking time tomorrow, May 22. For everyone else interested in Holy Ship you can add your name to the waitlist and hope the pre-bookers don’t claim all of the available cabins.
Check out the lineup in its entirety after the jump. (more…)Posted by
The inaugural cruise of generic levitra online
n-june-15th/”>Holy Ship! 2012 brought together 2,500 dance music fans and talent like Rusko, Skrillex, and Laidback Luke for a 3 day trip to Florida and the Bahamas. Recap videos always make events seem unbelievable, but this eight-minute film does not do the trip justice. For most gigs, the artist arrives at the venue just before the show, but with Holy Ship! the DJs were passengers too and interacted with the rest of the people on board. You could find yourself in the hot tub with Diplo or play mini golf and take shots with Steve Aoki. Reservations for Holy Ship! 2013 are now being taken — that is, if cruising around the tropics with some of your favorite DJs sounds like your thing.
Formerly called Hard Cruise, Holy Ship! is destined to be one hell of an experience for anyone lucky enough to get a ticket.
From January 6 – 9 2012, attendees will cruise on the MSC Poesia out of Ft. Lauderdale to Port Lucaya, Bahamas all while being bombarded with sets by some of the biggest names in EDM. The lineup is already incredible and with 7 months to go expect some more big names to be added to the list.
On day 3 the ship takes port on a private island for an all day beach party headlined by Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Buraka Som Sistema and Dillon Francis.
