UPDATED: Q-Dance faces scrutiny from local officials, stage unlikely to return for TomorrowWorld 2014
It seems that although TomorrowWorld's debut US event was an undeniable success, local residents were still unhappy with the decibel levels emitted from the festival. The main culprit? The Q-Dance stage, which is now facing an uncertain future as local officials and ID&T representatives discussed in a recent town hall meeting. TomorrowWorld Representative, Barbara Bouckaert, spoke at the Cedar Grove community meeting to address concerns about the excessive noise. According to Bouckaert, due to noise complaints the Q-Dance stage will no longer be part of TomorrowWorld 2014, and the location where the stage existed will remain empty. Bill Edwards, Fulton County Commissioner, also expressed concerns about the festival going on for four days despite being advertised as a 3-day event, putting a possible damper on the DreamVille opening party on Thursday night.
