Carnage has conquered trap over the past few months and now the Guatemalan producer is experimenting with the harder sounds of house. He showed his production chops with the electro-house cut, “Incredible,” alongside Borgore, and now Carnage is returning to the punching beat booms with his latest production, “Mr. Lover.”
His latest track is another collaboration, this time with L.A. based KillaGraham. The two producers incorporate grinding bass groans with charging synth dives on “Mr. Lover,” supplying listeners with another electro-driven output. Combing their gritty bass line with soft feminine vocals on the track, Carnage and KillaGraham form a pulsating production ready for the forthcoming festival season.
While genre crossovers are not all that rare, a house collaboration from a notoriously dirty dubstep producer and a well-known trap artist is definitely not something you see every day. In fact, it’s something you hardly ever see. Against all odds, dubstep’s raunchiest DJ, Borgore, has teamed up with Carnage, one of trap’s most iconic producers, to create “Incredible,” a dirty house track in the purest (or dirtiest?) sense of the word.
It’s safe to say we didn’t expect to see Borgore release big room house tracks any time soon. In rare form, the audacious dubstep veteran collaborates with trap prodigy, Carnage, to produce a dance floor trembler to rival “Epic.” “Incredible,” set to release on Spinnin’ Records, almost feels like the sequel to the Silva and Quintino original. In the same way Terminator 2 turned up the action, Borgore and Carnage’s sequel turns up the bass. We probably could have just condensed this track description by referring you to the title. Dropping February 4th, the day after the Super Bowl, “Incredible” will either console fans in Monday mourning or continue the celebration. (Let’s go 49ers.)
