The German duo Inpetto return once again to Doorn Records with their latest original “Girls and Boys.” Following up the success of “No More Serious Faces” and “Yuccasin” on the Doorn imprint, the pair deliver yet another charming progressive outing for Sander van Doorn’s tastemaking label. Heavily sampling the Blur track of the same name, “Girls & Boys” puts the vocals at the forefront of the mix, augmenting it with cascades of white noise, crisp electro synthwork and subtle dance pop vibes.
“Girls & Boys” will be released on June 17th via Doorn Records.
Happy 2013 Astronauts! This morning we have for you yet another 2012 rewind, this time in the form of German brothers Inpetto‘s monthly podcast. In this episode, the high-powered production team spends one full hour with us masterfully slicing and dicing the best of the year past. Although Inpetto’s podcasts don’t necessarily present material we’ve never heard, what makes them intriguing is the way in which they’re able to layer the records into a mix that does not miss a single beat. Check out the tracklist and enjoy more below.

Earlier this year, EDX released his full length album On The Edge, which included hits such as “Give It Up For Love,” “This Is Your Life,” and “Everything.” This week, another single from the album is receiving new life with remixes from Denzal Park and Inpetto. “2 Hearts 1 Mind” as an original is a euphoric, soothing tune lead by the vocal contribution from Tamra Keenan. Denzal boosts the excitement, using his own production to enhance the effect of the uplifting vocal. Inpetto takes the track in another direction, picking up the pace with his wild and rapid electro twist. Jump below the break and listen to both renditions of “2 Hearts 1 Mind,” available on Beatport now.

Best of the Rest is a daily feature from Dancing Astronaut that recaps the most important posts of the day as well as the stuff we didn’t get to. With the rapidity that dance music news and releases come out it’s difficult for us to hit everything — we hope BOTR serves as a catch-all. Make sure to check it out at the end of each day to ensure you don’t miss anything!
They create big things independently, but when they come together, Inpetto and Morgan Page deliver arm-raising dance floor sounds that won’t let you sit still. Such is the case with “Sinobia.” The track builds up with a steady bassline, adds synths as it reaches its chaotic apex, and the drop is that much more satisfying when the slew of rhythms come together. I personally prefer to hear a track as part of a mix or live set, where I feel it reaches its true potential. If you agree, you can hear “Sinobia” incorporated into Inpetto’s November podcast and in Morgan Page’s latest ‘In The Air‘ podcast.
Listen to “Sinobia” after the break, and purchase it now on Beatport via CR2 Records. (more…)
We’ve graced you with quite a bit of Inpetto’s fine sound lately, and today, we bring you their latest effort: “Sinobia” with EDM heavyweight Morgan Page. The big-room-ready track brings the bang in a nearly chaotic fashion. But have trust in the trio. Just as “Sinobia” appears to be getting out of control, it gets reeled back in with epic synths that get your body moving with the rhythm. It seems like it’s been a while since we heard some fresh tunes from Morgan Page, so this piece is more than welcome in our playlist. The track will be released on CR2 Records and is available for purchase on November 12th on Beatport. Keep an eye out!
Coming off the massive success of “Kangaroo,” Sander van Doorn has released his remix of Inpetto’s “Shhhh.” We previewed the track following his Electric Zoo set, back when it was still one of the many unidentifiable songs from his performance. For this offering, Sander ditched the bleepy electro sounds of “Kangaroo” in favor of melodic synth progressions, drums, and a bass heavy drop. The track is out now on Spinnin Records and is available for purchase through Beatport.

Picking up right where they left off with “No More Serious Faces,” German brothers Inpetto released their follow-up production, “Yuccasin,” today on Sander van Doorn’s record label. Inpetto’s latest effort is in the same progressive house vein as their previous releases, layering soaring builds and melodic big room synths to create a uniquely euphoric sound. While we don’t know whether this track will generate the same regard as “No More Serious Faces,” it will surely get its fair share of airplay this summer. Check out the clip below and head over to Beatport for the full-length download.

Mitch Crown’s vocals have been a hot commodity in the recent months, this time his voice emits throughout Patrick La Funk and Inpetto’s latest production. “Blizzard” is a groovy progressive house tune that will appeal to old school house music lovers. It moves away from the high pitched synths and more into an enchanting feel, the addition of piano riffs takes this tune to the next level. Most of you should know Patric La Funk after his work alongside Fedde Le Grand in “Autosave,” but the duo that is Inpetto has just started to make their name after the recent success of “No More Serious Faces.”
