Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella just tweeted out the line-up for September’s Nocturnal Wonderland. Featuring an eclectic mix of heavy dubstep, euphoric trance, big room house and everything in between — this year’s Nocturnal Wonderland is not one you’ll want to miss.
Pasquale has always been extremely vocal about putting the music first and the line-up here reflects that; From 12th Planet to John Digweed, Pretty Lights to Danny Tenaglia, Cosmic Gate to Royksopp, it’s abundantly clear that the bookings were done with the music in mind.

It is almost impossible to keep up with the constant influx of new music that hits our inboxes here at Dancing Astronaut but that doesn’t mean we won’t try our best to keep our loyal readers on the pulse of everything dance music related. There were two huge event announcements today from Goldenvoice and Insomniac, a unique remix of an indie classic from Robbie Rivera, a making of video featuring two of the most beautiful women in dance music today, some nu-disco gems and a radio show from none other than Thomas Gold. Insomniac made its first move in New York earlier this year with the inaugural EDC NY, and the massive event company looks to continue its American expansion. We’re hearing from sources familiar with Insomniac’s plans that the company will be bringing its Beyond Wonderland event to the San Francisco Bay Area this September. While this information is (for now) unconfirmed, we’re hearing that the event will touch down in late September, with Saturday the 29th being the most likely date currently being thrown around.
Beyond Wonderland has previously been relegated to San Bernadino, taking place at the NOS Event Center for the past three years, while one event was held in Seattle. Our sources could not pinpoint an exact location for the San Francisco event, but it’s safe to say it will be large. (The most recent installment drew over 45,000 people in March.) We expect to hear more soon, so stay tuned!
With Electric Daisy Carnival becoming a fond but distant memory, we thought we would take a moment to remember all of the fun, music, and insanity that just a few weeks ago invaded the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Music festivals are a world of fun but require a little planning if you want the experience to run as smoothly as possible. We hope you’re all getting excited for one of the biggest music festivals of the summer. Of course we’re talking about the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, a sold-out event that will pack hundreds of thousands of people into Las Vegas’ Motor Speedway. The Insomniac construction crew has been hard at work transforming the venue (if you can even call it that) into the grounds that will see some of the biggest names in EDM perform in less than two weeks’ time. It’s hard to believe that Electric Daisy Carnival New York is upon us, after months of rumors, announcements, and pretty significant developments (like the addition of a third day). Well, one of the final pieces to the EDC puzzle is the all important list of set times, which has finally been released by Pacha NYC and Insomniac. As expected, Saturday arguably has the most impressive lineup of the weekend, but Sunday and Friday aren’t too bad either. Tickets for Electric Daisy Carnival New York are on sale again today at 12 Noon EST. Earlier this week, Pacha NYC and Insomniac Events announced the addition of a third day, and the tickets officially go on sale today.
