Tiga – Plush (Jacques Lu Cont Remix)
Jacques Lu Cont may very well be the King Midas of electronic music, everything he touches turns to audio gold. Following up his release on Brodinski's Bromance Records, "In The Night" the multi-monikered producer targets Canadian techno-maestro Tiga's latest original, "Plush," with an industrial driven bass line and squeaky clean synthesis. Dark and ominous, Jacques Lu Cont throws away the original's off tempo malaise and replaces it with a shuffling bass line, incessant percussion and heavy heaping of raucous energy.
Bromance #7 features debut solo EP from label boss Brodinski
From the moment that Brodinski and his manager Manu created their brainchild, Bromance Records, a new wave of French techno has been being forged by the likes of Gesaffelstein, Jacques Lu Cont, and a batch of other diverse acts. The label's seventh release has been delegated to the boss man himself, and features a two-track entitled "Dance Like Machines" and "Hypnotize."
Free Download: Coldplay – Charlie Brown (Jacques Lu Cont Mix)
Jacques Lu Cont presents his rendition of Coldplay's "Charlie Brown," as a free download. The track starts off with drums and spouts of vocals that lead us into a Deadmau5-esque break down, followed by a grungy electro chord pattern. The combination of these elements along with its graceful melodies and infectious rhythm make this track one of his finest works in recent time.

Coachella 2012 Day 2 Review (and why you should remember where you parked your car)
The skies opened up on the second day of Coachella, bringing with it an energy that rejuvenated the crowd. Despite numerous (but necessary) distractions, we managed to arrive unscathed at the polo grounds just in time to catch Jacques Lu Cont, who's performance warrants a post all its own. The only way to describe it would be phenomenal, his tight grooves and melodies were the perfect compliment to the beautifully sunny day.
