TomorroWorld is days, even hours, away from kicking off its inaugural festival in Chattahoochee and hundreds of DJs are flocking down south to make it special. Enter Jaz von D. Netherlands native and bubbling dance act, Jaz has most recently joined Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano on tour and in the studio. With a musical style and preference similar to the duo, and the durability that matches their capabilities in the booth, Jaz is on a strong campaign as a rising electro whiz who can offer a wide range of talents. Catch him this weekend at TomorrowWorld, but get to know him first.
Amidst touring with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and sporting their “Firefaces” collaboration at each stop, Jaz von D is emptying his arsenel of edits, mashups, and bootlegs. Giving away his 2K13 package, Jaz offers the best of his prized possessions that have worked best in his sets this year. The six-track offering packs a punch and includes his deep edit of Kanye West’s “New Slaves,” a unique take on Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” a clashing between Calvin Harris and David Tort, and more.
Hot on the heels of his Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano collaboration, “Firefaces,” Jaz von D is out to flaunt his wide-range of in-studio talent. Releasing “Flash,” a collaboration with Vigel, Jaz follows up with his progressive edge that’s been constantly evolving for nightlife perfect. On the otherhand, the young producer continues to flaunt his deeper, more beat-driven sound, and he’s done so with an edit of Kanye West’s “New Slaves.” Listen to and purchase “Flash” today and dig deeper with Jaz’s “New Slaves” bootleg below the break.
Spacesuit-wearing duo, The Manufactured Superstars deliver another bouncy pop house outing with “Zombies in Love.” Enlisting the help of anthemic choral lines and sugary-sweet piano rolls, “Zombies in Love” is much brighter than the name suggests, generating a feel good peak time vibe with driven percussion and catchy progressions. Scheduled to be released on April 9th, the remix package for “Zombies in Love” switches its focus off of ‘love’ and onto ‘zombies’ featuring bass driven and disemboweled versions of the feel good original. K Theory, AC Slater and Jaz von D all take their turns with the mix, creating three remixes that utilize throaty bass and gritty synthwork to transform the vibe into something deliciously sinister.
Listen to the remixes and enter to win a pair of general admission tickets to EDC NY to see the Manufactured Superstars.
Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano sparingly release original material, making each production special in its own way. Their latest offering, “Firefaces,” is a collaboration with Jaz von D, who has recently joined the duo at select American shows. Sunnery and Ryan’s signature tribal sound is put on the back-burner as Jaz lays down his Dutch progression atop a melodic chord styling. A change of pace for NYC’s resident duo and game changer for Jaz, “Firefaces” serves as the anthem for ID&T’s Energy 2013 and is now available to the globe.

After playing recent shows back-to-back, and now getting together in the studio, the chemistry within this trio has been exposed. Dubbed the official anthem of ID&T’s Energy 2013, the collaboration is slated to be released on February 15th.Posted by
