Sander Van Doorn‘s chart-topping single “Joyenergizer” became a big room DJ set staple after its release earlier this year. Now electro producer Lazy Rich has released his own high energy reinterpretation that appears well-positioned to elevate the release back into the festival rotation. The Canadian artist has infused his version with squealing synths and escalating bloops that propel the bombastic build into the remix’s hard-hitting synth-driven drop, putting on a bit of a sound design clinic in the process by virtue of the varied sounds that comprise the progression.
Topping the charts with a unanimous favorite with “Nothing Inside,” along with the groundbreaking releases of “Kangaroo” and Chasin’,” Sander van Doorn had ensured a special 2012 from the production end of things. However, the Doorn head honcho won’t stop there, as he has released another stellar effort with 2013 fresh on our calendars. “Joyenergizer” is as unique of an offering as we’ve seen, as Sander tops himself with melodic upswings and infectious gyrations of electro resonance.
