Robbie Rivera is rolling out the red carpet in Miami this March. His perennial Winter Music Conference event Juicy Beach just announced its anticipated Phase 2 lineup, adding the likes of Mord Fustang, Alex Gaudino, MYNC, and Sandro Silva to the list of artists performing at Nikki Beach Club this year. The bill already features marquee acts such as Bob Sinclar, Cosmic Gate, Moguai, and Stefano Noferini, and the Phase 3 lineup is still yet to be announced. Check out the full artist list and ticketing details here.
Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Beach has been a staple of Miami Music Week since he and his wife started the party at Nikki Beach in 2005. This year Robbie is inviting aspiring DJ/Producers to play along side Robbie and other international DJ talent during the prestigious party. The winner will also have a chance to showcase their production skills with a release on Robbie’s Juicy Music imprint.
Hope past the break for more information on how to enter.
Governors Island has been quite busy this year. Things got off to a rough start, but Made Event quickly remedied problems the following week. Dash Berlin ended June with style and Alesso held his 21st birthday party on the island a few weeks ago. When we made our way back to the island for Juicy Beach, we knew it would be a fun-filled time.
The night was opened by Manuel de la Mare, Paige, Stefano Noferini, and EDX (who played a killer set) before Robbie Rivera took to the stage at 9PM to a decently sized crowd. There was plenty of room to dance and lots of picnic tables to rest at, creating the perfect scene to enjoy some beats from the father of all things Juicy. Check past the break for 5 tracks you need to know from Robbie’s set.
Turn the clock back a bit, and recall the peaceful sun as it battered Ocean Drive from the waterfront to the most distant uptown haunts. If you’re like us, you were at Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Beach, taking part in the flagship Thursday party of Miami Music Week. This video recap is chock-full of the event’s highlights — there’s probably nowhere else in the world you’d have seen Tommy Trash, Afrojack, and R3hab all on the decks at the same time (and in front of a big Dancing Astronaut banner, no less).
It’s hard to believe that Ultra Music Festival wrapped up just under 48 hours ago, but we’ve been bringing you coverage from the ground in Miami all throughout the weekend. We know it can be hard to keep up with the fast pace of EDM news these days — not to mention that you’re probably a few days behind if you were actually lucky enough to be in Miami yourself. We went to some awesome parties like Juicy Beach and No Sugar Added in addition to that little festival called “Ultra,” and have been churning out content as fast as we possibly can to help make you feel like you were there. We’ll be bringing you more event writeups, videos, and photos throughout the week, but here’s a list of everything we’ve covered so far.
There are many iconic events that take place during Miami Music Week each March — and then there’s Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Beach. Already announced headliners include Robbie himself, along with Bassjackers, Tommy Trash, and Bob Sinclar, but now we’re pleased to announced phaze two. The lineup is absolutely jam-packed, adding in big names such as R3hab, Nervo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and even Nari & Milani. The all-day event kicks off at Noon on Thursday March 22nd at Nikki Beach, and runs pretty much through till morning. The first three batches of tickets have already sold out, but there’s currently another round of general admission on sale. Dancing Astronaut is the official media partner of the event and will be present in full force. Will you be?
PS: Check out Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Beach Mix of his newest track, “Turn It Around,” below for a taste of what to expect in Miami! (It’ll be available on Beatport this Wednesday and iTunes March 5th.)
Update: Juicy Beach pre-sale tickets are officially sold out — but there will be tickets available at the door. This is one event you won’t want to miss, so make sure to get there early!
