Diplo‘s latest effort “Keep It Gully” was previously only available on the Mad Decent Premium club, but now the Keep It Gully EP is available via iTunes and Beatport as well. The two track outing gives listeners two collaborations with the Australian producer Swick and the second cut “Dat A Freak” features vocals from TT & Lewis Cancut. The track, according to Diplo’s SoundCloud, is an “Egyptian twurk anthem” working in more experimental sounds that incorporate the Mad Decent record head’s worldly influences. Keeping an upbeat tempo on both tracks, the two producers continue to follow the dance hall influences Diplo has previously given listeners, while accentuate a love for new dance-worthy sounds.
When Diplo isn’t sharing photos of girls (and guys) in various states of expression, he can be found behind the booth or hunkered down in the studio. His recent collaboration with Swick — “Keep It Gully” — is moombah focused and dancehall inspired. The track is only available to Mad Decent Premium members, which you can sign up for here. Membership perks include early access to MD releases, merchandise discounts, and 3 grams of Diplo’s ashes in 70 years.
For anyone wondering about the definition of “gully,” it means “from the streets” or “gangster.”

In typical form, Diplo took to his social media accounts to unveil his latest production, a collaboration with Melbourne up-and-comer Swick. The Australian producer who is known for his tropical outputs, released an EP entitled Bubbles via the Mad Decent imprint Jeffree’s last year and is now back for more. Though only a snippet, “Keep It Gully” instantly oozes with both producers’ dancehall-inspired vibes driven by female vocal loops through the synthesized beat. Combining the sounds of reggae and moombahton, the two producers give listeners a sneak peak of what could be 2013′s “Express Youself.”
