Massive tracks usually warrant massive remix packages, and that’s exactly what we have here with the “Cool Without You” remix bundle. The Fries & Shine boys have carefully hand picked seven different producers whose task was to transform the disco-laden gem into something of their own. It’s an eclectic collection of talent spanning from young trance star Audien to a pair of duos, The Partysquad and Tommy Lee & Aero. The remix pack is set to be released February 11th, but don’t you worry – we have the exclusive preview below.
Following their debut collab ‘Don’t Look Back’, Fries and Shine return with a disco fueled banger entitled ‘Cool Without You’, which features Fool’s Gold artist Kid Sister on vocals. The follow up has funky basslines, catchy vocals and an energetic flow to get you hooked instantly. The tune is slated for release on January 21th, check out the preview taken live from JACKED NYE @ Pier 94 below.
It’s a daunting task but we owe it to you to write about the best 50 songs of 2010. All countdowns are controversial, and you might disagree with some of the rankings but the Dancing Astronaut team got together and did our best job to represent your favorite songs of the year. We took many criteria into consideration such as reception on this blog, support from major DJs, success on Beatport, and of course quality of the song! We’ll post 10 songs a day until we get to #1 on New Years Eve. 2010 was an AMAZING year for electronic dance music. From all of us at Dancing Astronaut, N-joy!
This song has been previously posted on Dancing Astronaut (Kim Fai Remix available here), however a newer funkier version has just come out. Needless to say we did not want to deprive you from hearing an essential “Right Hand Hi” remake. N-Joy!
