Kaskade and Deadmau5′s ”Move for Me” is quite possibly Kaskade’s most recognizable vocal. Haley Gibby’s enchanting, yearning lyrics have seduced many a young rave attendee over the years. For this week’s Kaskade Mashup Monday, Kaskade pairs the magnetically alluring vocal with Swanky Tunes’ and Matisse & Sadko’s acidy, progressive house gem “The Legend.” In typical Kaskade fashion, the combination is clean and enticing. It’s hard to do wrong with a track as amazing and timeless as “Move for Me.” Grab the mashup for free from SoundCloud.

With Kaskade back in his KMM swing, we can expect stellar mashups week in and week out. This time around, Mr. Freaks of Nature is dishing out two bootlegs — one downloadable, one streamable — both of which feature tunes from Tommy Trash. The first is Kaskade’s “Empty Streets” vocal upon Trash’s “Cascade,” which can be claimed from SoundCloud. The second, for our listening pleasures only, is Tommy’s “Reload” collaboration laced with the ever famous “Eyes.” Jump below the break and enjoy a Monday mashup on a Tuesday.

We’ve come to expect great things from Kaskade and his weekly mashup treats, and this week’s bootleg, while a day late, does not disappoint one bit. He took his wildly popular “Don’t Stop Dancing” — known for its dreamy vocals — and added a gritty edge by infusing it with Albin Myers’ “Hells Bells.” The juxtaposition of sounds works incredibly well as the track floats between crooning and wobbling. Take a listen for yourself after the break and make sure to grab the free download.
Editors Note: Kaskade informed us via Twitter that some of his mashups are being taken down, so stock up while you can!
This week, Kaskade indulges us in a hauntingly beautiful tune entitled “How Long Allein” as part of his weekly Kaskade Mash-Up Mondays. The track is a melding of his work with Inpetto and Late Night Alumni, “How Long” and Pryda’s “Allein.” Its vocals are reminiscent of Kaskade’s “4AM” days while the “Allein” chants take us back to summer 2012. And appropriately so: Kaskade played this creation throughout his Freaks of Nature tour. Everything about this week’s KMM selection flows perfectly, making us yearn for more of Kaskade’s easy, seamless mash-ups.
“Making Mondays Suck Less Since 1995″ – Kaskade
Kaskade recently reinstated Mashup Monday, a fan favorite and instant pick-me-up for the Monday blues. This week’s offering combines two massive hits, Kaskade’s “Turn It Down” and Nicky Romero’s “Toulouse.” Although some parts of the mashup feel a bit disconnected, the hard and soft elements blend surprisingly well (for the most part). Per usual, the track is available for free download via Kaskade’s SoundCloud.
Kaskade has long been a fan of giving away free bootlegs and mashups, and this latest installment of Kaskade Music Mondays comes right from his recently-begun Freaks of Nature tour. The American has always loved adding female vocals to harder tracks, and this week he replaced the vocals in the Tommy Trash remix of “Ladi Dadi” with the vocals from his own production, “Be Still.” It’s a nice change from the original but definitely not ground breaking (but “Ladi Dadi” is probably one of Tommy’s best remixes and we’re all about free music). Hopefully Kaskade will give us more as he continues his tour around the US, but in the meantime grab the free download below.
